Hello, hello!

Here we are again, another week and another month. I hope January treated you well? January is my birthday month, so I enjoyed spending time with friends for the occasion. There are still decorations hanging outside my room.

February, however, is a new month with new challenges and opportunities. I have several blog tours planned for books that I hope you will enjoy immensely. The ones I have read so far are wonderful. I will also begin teaching my church's 3rd-4th grade Sunday School class with a friend of mine. Other than that my plans are read, school, work, friends, and family, as always.

The major holiday this month is Valentine's Day. I have not celebrated it much in past years, mainly because I have never had a "special someone." Reading, hoping, and celebrating with friends and family will have to suffice for now. However, I have found an interesting list of other, less well known holidays in February that I might decide to celebrate.

Feb 4: Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
Feb 5: World Nutella Day
Feb 9: National Read in the Bathtub Day
Feb 10: Umbrella Day
Feb 15: Singles Awareness Day (not Feb 14, as my friends and I like to tease)
Feb 17: Random Acts of Kindness Day
Feb 20: Love Your Pet Day

Several other holidays can be found here.

What holidays were you planning on celebrating this February? Have any fun or interesting plans this month?

  1. Happy belated birthday, Emily! Hope you had a great day. :)

I concur with your plans for Valentine's Day: "Reading, hoping, and celebrating with friends." Great way to put it!

And today was Ice Cream for Breakfast Day?? So sad I missed that! :P

    1. Thank you for the birthday wishes, Amber! I did have a great day.

Unfortunately I missed Ice Cream for Breakfast Day too. I forgot the date and the day already passed. Tomorrow could work.

It's great to hear from you!
